I can't believe how fast the year is going by and that we are already in February! I have been meaning to write a post for a few weeks now and am finally getting to it tonight...I guess better late than never. My jewelry challenge is off to a good start...I have been doing a slow but steady stream of new pieces and am on track to complete my resolution by the end of April (right on track!)...Mainly focused on enameling right now since I had studio time at Sharon Art Studio for the month of January which means I had access to their kilns which allowed me to work on some larger and irregular shaped pieces which are easier fired in a kiln than at home with a torch...Some of my larger pendants have been posted to my Etsy shop (follow link to check them out https://www.etsy.com/shop/ijewelry)
The picture I posted below of my trio disc earrings in green where actually done with a torch at home...I posted these because these are one of my favorite new pieces...I have had this design in my mind for awhile and it feels so good to get it out of my head and created! I love the way they turned out! They wear well too...with nice color and movement! Going to work on a few more pairs in different colors!
