In need of some inspiration...

The last few weeks have been a little discouraging in terms of my jewelry business. I don't want to use this blog to gripe about setbacks and the self-doubt that comes with them, so I won't go into much detail here...but just want to say that there are times when it feels like getting to the next level is near impossible. Since some of these challenges literally came up as I was working this afternoon, I just started with some positive self-talk to boost my confidence. It also helps that at my craft business mentorship meeting yesterday, I was able to get some positive affirmation on running a small business. And once I post this, I plan on sitting down to readdress some of my goals for the year...planning always helps be feel more in control...And as I am writing, I am already feeling better...just realized that maybe my plan needs to be adjusted...and that is OK...doesn't mean I won't reach my goals...it just may take a little longer than I originally thought. How about you? What do you do to get past self-doubt and setbacks?

Besides the business side of things, the creative side of my business is doing good. I have been able to carve out some studio time over the last few weeks. Also, the summer show season is in progress and it has been encouraging to meet people and see how they respond to my jewelry. The photo for this month's blog post is of some of my more recent work of an older design...I used to call these cut out pendants, but think they need a better name...any suggestions?
